LocalDir (www.localdir.in) is a product of Spacelinkers Infotech Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office at 55 Shiv Nagar, Tundla, Uttar Pradesh – 283204, India ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you use our platform.

We collect the following categories of information:

• Identity & Contact: Name, mobile phone number (verified via OTP), and optionally email address, collected during account registration.
• Business Information: Business name, category, city, description, logo, website URL, and WhatsApp number, provided when you list a business on our platform.
• Lead / Service Request Data: Service requirements you submit as a customer, including your name (optional) and phone number (sourced from your verified account, never from form input).
• Usage Data: Pages visited, search queries, clicks, device type, browser, and IP address, collected automatically via server logs and analytics.
• Communications: Any messages, feedback, or correspondence you send to us.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and maintain your account and verify your identity via phone OTP.
• Display your business listing to potential customers.
• Match customer service requests with relevant businesses in the same category and city.
• Operate the contact-reveal feature, allowing businesses to access customer contact details within plan limits.
• Send transactional communications (e.g., new lead notifications) to business owners.
• Improve platform performance, detect fraud, and ensure security.
• Comply with applicable laws and respond to legal requests.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

• With Businesses (Controlled Reveal):A customer's phone number is shared with a business only when that business explicitly chooses to "reveal" the contact, subject to daily plan limits. Businesses must agree to our Terms & Conditions before accessing contact details.
• Service Providers: We use third-party services (e.g., Supabase for database hosting, Firebase for authentication, Vercel for hosting) who process data on our behalf under strict data-processing agreements.
• Legal Obligations: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority in India or any other applicable jurisdiction.
• Business Transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred. We will notify you via email or prominent notice on the platform before any such transfer.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us at info@spacelinkers.com. Upon verification of your identity, we will process the request within a reasonable timeframe. Please note that certain data may be retained in anonymised form for operational, legal, and analytical purposes. Deletion of an account does not guarantee removal of all associated marketplace data where such data is required for platform integrity.

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and isolated database environments. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and shall not be liable for unauthorised access beyond our reasonable control.

Subject to applicable Indian law (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, when in force), you have the right to:
